DBE - 7 trupe confirmate sub aceeasi amprenta Dark introspectiva

After taking a one year break, DBE has recharged its batteries for a new experience, celebrating, on this particular occasion, 20 years of Kogaionon. Perhaps this summer, 20th - 21st - 22nd of August will have a hint from the past, having Metal performances at its core, especially Dark and Atmospheric. Why? Because this is where this entire adventure started, taking the form of DBE only in the last years, a concept which now is at its 6th edition.
There will be bands from different genres, as well as other artistic non-musical happenings, and hopefully we will manage to organize some sort of trip. This will be a special occasion for us to spend a couple of days and nights away from the city, amongst old and new friends.
Our host will be once again the beautiful Ryma, inside the Carolina Citadel, in Alba Iulia, a location where DBE has always felt wonderful!
There have already been announced 7 of the bands, and we still have a few more surprises, names more or less known, from the underground, but ones which we consider they have something interesting and original to express, especially given the fact that they will perform in Romania for the first time. There is only one exception, yet those artists will prepare a classic show, after their beautiful performance at DBE in the past years.
There won't be any stylistically themed evenings, this time there will only be an alternation and intertwinement of different sounds, from la Post-Rock, Heavy Atmospheric or Experimental Drone to Doom or Black Metal, all under the same Dark introspective touch.
Information about camping, accommodation, transport, food & drink will be available from beginning of May. Similarly, we will announce details about day tickets and festival passes, which won't be put on pre-sale. We don't encourage limitations nor artificial marketing and financial strategies, for the reason that we follow one simple strategy: whoever feels like it, wants to, and can will be there.
We will offer you the opportunity for online reservations (festival passes only), to ensure those who will join us for the first time or, as it is already a tradition, for those who will gladly gather at our DBE "moment in time". We haven't yet decided about the prices, but there will be day ticket prices for those who want to selectively participate. We would, of course, be honored to have you there for the entire DBE festival, just like our past editions.
We're interested in the idea of personalized DBE accessories, in limited editions, for those of you who are enthusiastic about collecting souvenirs. For that matter, our friends from http://www.beautyofpain.ro have already begun to search for options, and hopefully by August we will have some simple, decent, stylish alternatives, which will be attractive rather than bombastic. J
I don't know how many of us will be at DBE this year and from how many countries, but there are no sold-out dangers. Ryma is a generously spacious location, which can hold around a few thousand people, which is not quite the case for DBE.
