BEGGININGS
Alexandru Ciorogar(bass) and JimmiPopa (Vladimir Bosinceanu) (guitar) have been playing together since the age of 13. Their first band was called Faktura. The two of them played jazz, blues, and in the year 2003 they started a band which will combine their favourite music genres: hardcore,metal,funk and jazz. The band went through a series of dynamic changes. In the fall of 2005 Vlad Codorean(drums) joins them, thus the important part of the group is established. November 2006-with the coming of Mihai Sarlea (vocals), the final formula was formed and the band recorded their first Demmo album called "Stand Up!".
CONCERTS AND FESTIVALS
ROCKHOUSE participated at TOPT festival (Buzau, May 2007), Urban Fest (Cluj-Napoca, June 2007), Aici Semenic (Semenic Mountain, July 2007), Puzzle Fest (Bucharest, July 2007) and FanFest (Rosia Montana, August 2007), and they played with bands like Vita de VIe, Luna Amara, Omu cu sobolani,Truda, Staccato, Mauser, Pronconsul, The Moshroom Story, Dute Vino, Implant Pentru Refuz, BIO,Blazzaj. In 2007, ROCKHOUSE has an appearance in SUNETE magazine and CD, because the band participated in the Manifest Yourself contest, with the song called "Stand Up!".
ROCKHOUSE has won two III-rd prizes at "Aici Semenic" festival and rock festival Ziua Dintai(Alba Iulia) and also the special award for the best bass player in both of the festivals (Ciorogar Alexandru). MESSAGE: Our songs,with their lirycs instigate to an active thinking process, which will lead to the comprehension and selection of information that is given to us every day, so that people will not be forced to accept and embrace prefabricated ideas or standard attitudes and behaviors.
